Ogilvie Ross aim to be the UK’s leading provider of specialist
environmental consultancy and ethical project management services.
We recognise the fact that despite the ethically positive nature
of our services, they nevertheless result in an overall impact
on the environment, and that by conducting our business in a
responsible and thoughtful manner, we can reduce this impact
and even act to improve the quality of the environment where
appropriate. To achieve this policy goal, we have committed to
the responsible management of our operations through the establishment
of an ISO14001 certified Environmental Management System. As
an integral part of this, we are committed to:
- Protecting the environment through the management of
those operations associated with Ogilvie Ross which may have
an overall negative environmental impact, as well as those
which have a positive impact.
- Continually improving our environmental performance through:
- Improved waste handling, storage and disposal,
including the further minimisation and recycling of wastes
where appropriate
- Forming close relationships with our contractors
and suppliers to encourage the adoption of best environmental
practices
- Minimising the environmental impacts associated
with our energy, water and fuel use wherever possible
- Ensuring the environmental risks associated with our
site are minimised as far as possible
In order to achieve these goals, we will:
- Meet or exceed current and future legislative requirements
- Strive to prevent pollution
- Provide appropriate training to our employees and contractors
to enable them to implement this environmental policy
- Focus on objectives to support this policy, regularly
review them and show continuing effectiveness of the Environmental
Management
System during the annual Management Review
This policy will be implemented through an ISO14001 Environmental
Management System.
